2. Leverage amplifies losses
Leverage multiplies both gains and losses. A small adverse price move on a leveraged position can wipe out the margin backing it, and positions can be liquidated by your exchange or broker before a stop-loss executes. Higher leverage means faster, larger losses.
3. No guarantee of profit
CRX makes no guarantee of profit and no representation that any strategy, signal, or configuration will be profitable. Automated strategies can and do lose money, sometimes rapidly and repeatedly. Any figures shown in the CRX interface or marketing are illustrations of the interface, not actual or projected returns.
4. Past performance
Past performance — whether backtested, simulated, or live — is not indicative of future results. Market conditions change, and a strategy that performed well historically can perform poorly going forward.
5. Software, API, and exchange failures
CRX is software and depends on third-party exchange and broker APIs, market-data feeds, and network connectivity. Outages, API errors, rate limits, delayed or missed orders, incorrect data, exchange downtime, or bugs can cause losses — including stop-losses failing to execute. Exchange-side protective orders reduce but do not eliminate this risk. You remain responsible for monitoring your account.
